Join Lakeland Film Lab for the second installment of our small-group, hands-on styled photoshoot workshop led by Nick (@itsalwayssunny16). This session builds on the collaborative, real-world approach of the first workshop, introducing a brand-new concept, location, and creative direction.
Designed as an immersive shooting experience, this workshop gives participants the opportunity to step directly into the process of executing a styled shoot—from planning through shoot day—while working together as a creative team.

What to Expect
This workshop emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and hands-on experience. Participants will work together to develop and execute a fully styled shoot, with guidance from Nick throughout the process.
Pre-Shoot Planning
Prior to shoot day, we’ll meet for a collaborative planning session at a local coffee shop. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option will be available. During this session, we will:
- Develop the overall concept and visual direction
- Discuss location, wardrobe, and props
- Coordinate ideas and finalize shoot details as a group
Shoot Day – On Location
On Sunday, May 24th, we’ll meet on location to bring the concept to life. This session is focused on hands-on shooting and real-time learning. Nick will provide guidance on:
- Composing and shooting a styled scene
- Working with natural light and environment
- Directing and collaborating with a model
- Film-specific techniques and decision-making
Participants will have the opportunity to actively shoot, experiment, and refine their approach while receiving feedback throughout the session.
Whether you joined the first workshop or are stepping in for the first time, this session offers a unique opportunity to collaborate, create, and gain practical experience in a supportive, small-group setting.
